Barbate becomes the culinary hotspot of the spring season with the 18th Tuna Gastronomic Week, a well-established event celebrating wild bluefin tuna caught using the traditional almadraba method, with unique culinary experiences and activities for all ages.

📅 When & Where

From April 22 to May 3, 2026 in Barbate (Cádiz, Spain).
The Tuna Route runs throughout the entire period in participating bars and restaurants, while the Tuna Fair takes place from April 29 to May 3 at the venue opposite the La Albufera port and in several locations across the town.

🎶 Highlights & Activities

Tuna Route (April 22 – May 3)
Taste exclusive tapas and dishes in participating bars and restaurants. With the “tapaporte”, visitors can join a fun prize game for both establishments and participants who complete the route.

Tuna Fair (April 29 – May 3)
