The celebrations begin on Thursday 9th July with the traditional Coronation of the Queens and Ladies, marking the official start of the festivities. Throughout the fair, visitors can enjoy a packed programme of activities, including a senior citizens' dinner, children's events, a ladies' luncheon, and live orchestra performances every night until the early hours.
A highlight of the celebrations is the Virgen del Carmen festivities, honouring the patron saint of fishermen and seafarers. The programme includes a Rociera Mass and the traditional maritime and land procession through the fishing quarter, followed by the popular Sardiná, where freshly grilled sardines are shared among residents and visitors alike.
The fair concludes on Sunday 12th July with the traditional Rociero Sunday, featuring a community paella in the Municipal Marquee before a spectacular fireworks display lights up the night sky to close the celebrations.
