🏛️ II Carteia Lvdica: history comes alive again in San Roque! ⚔️
From 8 to 19 September, San Roque will travel back to Roman times with the second edition of Carteia Lvdica, the historical reenactment festival celebrating the heritage of Carteia, the first Latin colony established outside Italian soil.
📜 Under the slogan “Where history walks again”, the festival will offer a varied programme of free activities for all ages:

⚔️ Grand Roman Day

The grand finale will bring the historic centre to life with Romans, gladiators and historical reenactments. The V Legion of Emerita Augusta will lead a spectacular parade from Cuatro Vientos, passing along Málaga Street, Coronel Moscoso and San Felipe before reaching Plaza de Armas.
🏺 There will also be a Roman craft market, Ludus Antiqua, gladiator fights and reenactments of Roman professions.
