Join one of the most cherished traditions on the Costa del Sol as Torreguadiaro celebrates the Day of the Virgen del Carmen on Thursday 16th July.
The celebrations begin at 7:00pm with the traditional procession departing from the church in Torreguadiaro, making its way to Sotogrande Marina, where the Virgen del Carmen will embark on a beautifully decorated boat for the iconic maritime procession along the coast before returning to shore.
Following the procession, a Misa Rociera will be held at 9:00pm in the Fishermen's Quarter, continuing this much-loved annual celebration.
The festivities continue into the evening with the Municipal Fair Tent opening at 10:00pm, featuring live orchestra music, followed by the ever-popular Sardiná Popular at 10:30pm, where everyone is invited to enjoy freshly grilled sardines in a festive atmosphere.
The celebrations conclude with live music and dancing late into the night.
