
“Saborea Estepona” is Estepona’s premier tapas event, celebrating local cuisine and the city’s vibrant tapeo culture. Visitors explore a variety of bars and restaurants, sample creative tapas, and vote for their favourites in the “Best Tapa 2026” contest with €3,500 in prizes.
17–19 April 2026 — Participating bars and restaurants across Estepona will serve their competition tapas during the event days, following each venue’s regular opening hours.
Visitors can enjoy the tapas, vote for their favourites, and take part in prize draws by completing their event passport.
A selection of bars and restaurants from across Estepona will take part in the route, each presenting their own original tapa created especially for the competition.
The event offers a relaxed and social way to experience the city’s culinary culture while exploring different neighbourhoods and local establishments.
Visitors must collect stamps from at least three different establishments to complete their passport and participate in the voting and prize draws.
Local sponsor Frutas & Verduras Acosta supports the event by providing €100 worth of products to participating venues for the preparation of their tapas, reinforcing the promotion of local gastronomy.
