The beaches of Sotogrande are a beautiful stretch of Mediterranean coastline š where calm waters and wide sandy shores create a peaceful escape. In EspaƱa, beaches are public by law and open for everyone to enjoy. Local rules in San Roque require that dogs are only allowed on beaches during the low season (Oct 1 ā May 31) and must be kept on a leash, while during high season (Jun 1 ā Sep 30) they are not permitted. Fires, barbecues and overnight camping are also prohibited unless authorised, and visitors should always take their rubbish with them ā»ļø and follow signage.
